Classic puff pastry is difficult to prepare. It’s easier to buy ready-made, store in the freezer and get it when you want to bake something. But, if you are a supporter of the whole home, look for simplified ways to prepare a puff pastry on the Internet. In the recipes listed below, it is implied that you already have it.
Open puffs for breakfast
Ingredients:
- 200-300 g of puff pastry;
- chicken eggs;
- slices of bacon;
- Parmesan;
- salt, pepper and herbs (parsley, dill, basil).
Preparation
Roll out the dough and cut it into squares 7-10 centimeters wide. Lay them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Make around the edges of the squares of the border about 1 centimeter high.
Break each of the resulting squares with one egg and lay out a few slices of bacon. Salt, pepper and sprinkle with chopped herbs and grated Parmesan cheese (you can substitute another cheese).
Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Bake the puffs for 10-15 minutes. The dough should become golden brown. But you can take out the puffs early, if you want the egg to remain liquid.
Slice-ring for breakfast
Ingredients:
- 400 g of puff pastry;
- 200 g of sausage;
- 200 g cheddar;
- 4 eggs;
- 1 tablespoon of ranch dressing;
- 3 tablespoons salsa sauce;
- Parmesan.
Preparation
Roll out the dough to make a circle with a diameter of about 30 centimeters. At the center of this circle put a glass and cut another circle. Cut the resulting ring into triangular wedges. It should turn out to be something like a flower.

Lubricate the ring with ranch dressing. If it is not, then simply mix in equal proportions sour cream and mayonnaise with various spices (dried parsley, dried dill, salt, pepper, garlic powder and so on).
Cut sausage and lightly fry. Then break the eggs into a pan and fry them, stirring constantly. At the end, add three tablespoons of salsa.
Spread the filling on the ring so that it is then convenient to bend the “petals”, and after cooking – cut the puff. Close the ring, bending all the “petals”, and sprinkle it with grated parmesan. Bake puff in the oven for 10-15 minutes at 200 ° C. Serve for breakfast with hot coffee.
Quick cheesecake
Ingredients:
- 400 g of yeast-free puff pastry;
- 250 g of cream cheese;
- 150 g of sugar + 2-3 tablespoons for sprinkling;
- 80 g of butter;
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar.
Preparation
Roll the dough into two large layers. One of them lay on a round or rectangular shape for baking. Whip cream until smooth, butter, sugar and vanilla sugar. Pour the mixture into the mold.
Top the second layer of dough. Seal the edges. If desired, from the remains of the dough, you can make braids or bars and decorate them with cheesecake. Sprinkle the cake with sugar. If you like cinnamon, you can sprinkle it and her.
Bake a cheesecake for half an hour in a preheated oven to 180 ° C until golden brown. When it cools, send it for a couple of hours in the fridge, and then cut and serve to the table.
A pie with cabbage
Ingredients:
- 500 g of puff pastry;
- 130 g of butter;
- 1 small fork of cabbage;
- 7 eggs;

Preparation

- 2 tablespoons of sugar;
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice;
- 1 teaspoon of grated lemon peel;
- fresh or frozen berries.
For glaze:
- 1 glass of powdered sugar;
- 1-2 tablespoons of milk.
Preparation
With a mixer, mix cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice and zest until smooth. Roll out the dough and oil it with a creamy mixture. Arrange the berries and wrap the roll. Cut it into small pieces and transfer them to a round baking tray.
Bake rolls for 15-20 minutes at a temperature of 180 ° C. While they are baked, prepare the icing. To do this, mix a glass of powdered sugar with 1-2 tablespoons of milk. Allow the mixture to stand for a while, so that the powder is completely dissolved. If the glaze is too thick, pour in a spoonful of milk. If you want, you can also add a pinch of vanilla.

Chebureki
Ingredients:
- 1 kg of puff pastry;
- 500 g of pork or ground beef;
- 50 g of butter;
- 2 onions;
- 5 cloves of garlic;
- salt, pepper, spices to taste;

Preparation
Grind the onions with a blender or meat grinder, mix it with ground meat. Salt, pepper, add chopped garlic and spices that you like.
Cut the dough into small balls, roll each of them. Put a couple of spoons of minced meat and a small piece of butter on one half of the circle. Cover the forcemeat with the second half of the dough and protect it.
Fry the chebureks in hot vegetable oil to a ruddy crust on both sides. After frying, spread the chebureks on paper towels to remove excess fat.
Slices with bananas and “Nutella”
Ingredients:
- 200 g of puff pastry;
- 2 bananas;
- “Nutella”;
- sugar;

Preparation

Preparation

Ingredients:

- parsley, dill and green onions to taste.
Preparation
Spanakotiropatita is a traditional Greek pie with spinach and feta. To prepare a portioned spanacotyropat, defrost, dry and cut the spinach. Fry the onion in olive oil (two tablespoons) until golden. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and put them together with the fete. Thoroughly mix everything until smooth. Add the fried onions, the remaining olive oil, finely chopped greens and garlic.

Preparation
Roll the dough into a layer about 0.5 centimeter thick. You can make small edges on the edge.

Chop the greens and garlic, mix them with mayonnaise and spread the dough layer, receding 3-5 cm from the edge. Evenly spread the dough and cheese. Do not leave uncontaminated edge loose. Fold the roll so that this strip of dough is on the outside. It can be moistened with water to tightly seal the roll.
