Microsoft has made great efforts to make Windows 10 equally convenient for use on any device, including tablets and laptops-transformers. The only problem is the lack of applications for this platform. You can restore it using the Chrome browser. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Open the Google Chrome service that you want to use as a normal application. For example, Google Play Music.
2. Click the button of the main menu in the upper right corner and select the “Additional Tools” item, and then “Add to Desktop …”.
3. In the dialog box that appears, give the application a friendly name and check the “Open in a separate window” option.
4. On your desktop and in the main menu of Windows appeared a shortcut to the new application. It will be launched in a separate window, almost no different from ordinary Windows-programs. If desired, you can attach it to the taskbar for quick access, and also enable the display of notifications.
Of course, this method can not completely replace a real client of YouTube, Google Maps, SoundCloud or, for example, “Yandex.Muzyki.” However, in some cases, this organization of the workspace is much more convenient than a permanent switch between open browser tabs.
