How to make curls
Curling with a curling iron is fast and beautiful. With this simple home appliance you can create many bright images. For example, “Hollywood waves” are very popular now.
But it can not be used every day. From high temperatures, hair loses its shine, becomes brittle and lifeless.
Do not put the hair out more than once a week.
1. How to choose a ploy
Plait are different coating. The most safe for hair are ceramic. Such fuses are most often used by professional hairdressers.

2. How to prepare hair
When curling a curling iron, follow the three rules:
- Hair should be clean. Curls on the sebaceous hair will dissolve more quickly than the coolant will cool.
- The hair must be dry. Curling wet hair with curlers is like frying bread on a fire.
- Hair should be protected. Before winding on the curling iron, be sure to treat the strands with a thermal protective agent. It seals scales of hair, retains moisture inside and thereby protects from exposure to high temperatures. More effective are non-washable sprays.
3. How to curl hair with a plait
Hairdressers are advised to divide the head into the occipital, temporal and frontal zones and curl the hair in this sequence.
At home, you can act more simply: fix a part of the hair on the vertex and twist the lower ones first, and then the upper strands. Or, if the length allows, you can make a direct parting, divide the hair into the right and left parts and curl each.
Whichever option you choose, first separate the strand about 2 cm wide. The thicker the head of hair, the thinner the curls should be.
If you want curls to hold out all day, before wrapping on a curling plate, sprinkle hair with varnish or treat with beer foam.
Comb the strand and wind on the curling iron. Twist the strand into a tourniquet, if you want the curl to turn out to be dense, like a spring.
Try not to pull too tight and do not squeeze the tip of the appliance. To get spiral curls, hold the ploy upright. If you want more playful curls, set it horizontally or at an angle.
If you have very long hair, do not twist the curl all over at once: when the tips are almost burned, the top layers will not even warm up. First, grasp the middle of the strand with the tongs and twist it to the roots. Then wind the tip.
Hold each lock on the curling bar 10-15 seconds. The length of the curl depends on the power of the appliance and the desired elasticity of the curls. If the hair is healthy, the curd can be heated to 200 ° C. Thin and weakened hair is better to curl at a temperature of not more than 100 degrees.
Carefully remove the curl from the curling plate and lightly sprinkle with varnish.

Allow the curls to cool for 10-15 minutes. After that, you can comb them with a comb with sparse teeth or swipe your fingers.
If necessary, put curls in your hair and fix it with lacquer.
4. How to restore hair
To restore weakened hair, you can use one of the following masks.
- With yogurt and aloe. Preheat 1 teaspoon of castor oil and combine with 1 tablespoon of kefir, 1 teaspoon of aloe juice and 1 ampoule of vitamin E. Rub the mask first into the roots, then spread over the entire length of the hair. Hold for half an hour, then rinse with warm water.
- With egg and honey. Mix the egg yolk with 2 teaspoons of liquid honey. Add ½ tablespoon of olive oil and apply the mixture on the hair. Hold for half an hour, then wash your head.
- With banana and glycerin. Make a blender banana puree. Add 1 teaspoon of glycerin and the same amount of almond oil. Apply the compound on the head: from the roots to the tips. Keep the mask for 40 minutes, and then rinse thoroughly.
How to make hair curlers
Old good curlers are used to create curls, and to give volume. Curling on curlers usually takes longer than on curling. But hair is not exposed to high temperatures.

Hair curlers are made of soft plastic and allow you to get spiral curls. To do this, simply pass the strands through the curlers with the help of special clamps.
Most hair curlers should not be kept for more than an hour.
Curler bobbins are wooden sticks with thread, which are attached with elastic bands. Bobbins are usually used for perm or to create curls on very short hair.
Foam curlers are fixed with elastic bands or special plastic clips. The varied diameters of these soft barrels allow them to wind hair of different lengths on them.
Electric and thermal hair curlers help to make an express curl, as they heat up the hair. The first ones are charged from the mains, the latter needs to be boiled in boiling water to melt the paraffin inside them.
