What is a customer rating?
The buyers on AliExpress, like the sellers, have a rating. After completing the transaction, not only you put the asterisks to the seller, but he to you. If the buyer is caught in fraud or often opens unreasonable disputes, he can get on the black list of AliExpress. This gives sellers the right to refuse to deal with it.
To find out how many medals, crowns or sapphires you have, take a look at the “My AliExpress” tab.
Clicking on the item “Buyer rating”, you can read your feedback and feedback from sellers (Feedback Left For Sellers and Feedback Received as a Buyer).
Rating on AliExpress is needed so that sellers and buyers are confident in each other and make deliberate, mutually beneficial deals. Rating is the reputation of AliExpress participants as a trading platform. Do not confuse it with Ali-bonuses.
What are bonus points
AliExpress bonuses is a system of encouraging users. To receive them, you need to be an active buyer.
- For every dollar spent, you get one bonus point, provided that the total amount of the order is more than two dollars. For example, if a thing costs $ 10, you will get 10 points. If the purchase cost you 50 cents, points will not be accrued.
- For each review of the product you will receive one point each.
- For every day you bought something, you get five points. For example, if you bought headphones today, and tomorrow a case for the phone, then in two days you will get 10 points. If both transactions are committed on the same day, there will be only five bonuses.
For orders that have been canceled, no points are awarded. You can save them endlessly. But if the buyer does not show activity during the year, the points are burned.
Levels of buying activity
Depending on the number of bonus points collected, buyers on AliExpress are divided into five groups.
- A0 (0 points) – the lowest level, which is assigned to all users immediately after registration.
- A1 (from 1 to 99 points) – assigned to users who have made at least one purchase more than two dollars.
- A2 (from 100 to 499 points) – the average level, giving, like the previous ones, two privileges.
- A3 (from 500 to 1 999 points) – the high level that people who buy a lot and often receive.
- А4 (from 2,000 points and above) – Highest level with the maximum set of privileges.
Achieving one or another level gives certain privileges.
The privileges of the members of the “AliExpress Club”
There are three types of privileges.
1. Notification of discounts
Available at A1, A2, A3 and A4 levels.
The privilege is that if the price of a product in the basket or your wish list is reduced, you will receive a notification about it to an e-mail.
2. Accelerated return
Available at A3 and A4 levels.
Imagine that you bought a jacket on AliExpress, but missed with the size. To get a full refund, you need to open a dispute and send the thing back to the seller. In this case, the dispute will not be closed, and the funds will not be returned to your account until the seller confirms receipt of the jacket.
Accelerated return allows you not to wait for the parcel to reach the seller. You just need to provide a tracking number and you will receive money back. Not instantly, but in accordance with the terms of your payment system. For example, if on your card reverse transactions are made in 3-5 days, then the money will come during this time.
Buyers at the A3 level can get an accelerated refund of up to $ 25. Buyers of A4 level – payments up to $ 100.
3. Acceleration of the dispute
Available at A4 level.
For the most active buyers, AliExpress singled out a separate team of moderators, which is called upon to quickly consider disputes.
If your level of A4 and you open a dispute, you can sharpen it by requesting an accelerated review.
The review process will be accelerated for 5 days.
Personal opinion
Previously, users on AliExpress had Silver, Gold and Platinum status. But it did not give any privileges. Now on the site an attempt is made to create a full-fledged club of buyers. And it’s great.
I’ve been buying on AliExpress for more than three years and I believe that loyal users of the site really should have privileges. But, in my opinion, the benefits now provided are absolutely useless.
Discount notices actually get everything, no matter how many orders you made. Accelerated return is a useful option, but it can provoke fraud of dishonest customers. I think for some it will be tempting to send the seller a foam instead of a real product. And to accelerate the dispute you need to accumulate too many points.
I hope that AliExpress will improve its club, perfect the system and introduce new privileges.
