Since recently, VKontakte has begun to introduce a new standard for streaming video HLS. This led to the fact that most plugins and services for downloading video from VKontakte are malfunctioning or have stopped working at all. Nevertheless, not everything is lost.
1. Open the page with the video.
2. In the address bar in front of vk.com, put m to get m.vk.com/address_video:
3. In the mobile version of the site in the video playback mode, click on it with the right mouse button and select “Save video as …”.
