How to calibrate the iPhone and iPad battery to increase battery life

The battery life of mobile devices has always been a byword. And while apple devices in this respect favorably differ from competitors, the problem sometimes worsens with the output of a new firmware or its update, when it can be seen with the naked eye that the iPhone keeps the charge much worse. Fortunately, this problem can be solved with the help of the old “grandfather” method, the calibration of the battery controller.

The essence of the calibration is to “reset” the controller, which controls the battery and is responsible for the boundary limits of charge and discharge. The capacity of the battery changes over time and the controller can “naughty” by not recharging it or vice versa disconnecting it too early. This often happens after the firmware is updated on the iPhone or iPad. So, there is a possibility that after the calibration the battery will come to life and show the best results. It is quite easy to execute it.

  1. First of all, you need to completely discharge the battery of your iOS device. Speaking completely, I mean to discharge until the moment the device completely disconnects. So include video, play games, listen to music and load your gadget in full.
  2. After that, put the device on charge and charge it to magical 100%. It is recommended to use a network charger to provide the required charge current.
  3. As soon as your iPhone or iPad is charged up to 100%, leave it to hang on the cord for another hour (for fidelity).
  4. Now you need to disconnect the iOS-device from the network and use it in normal mode, until the battery is fully discharged (completely!). Never connect your device to a charger or computer. It is very important! Otherwise, the spell will disperse and our mantra may not work. ?
  5. Once again, charge the device to the eyeballs and leave it charged for another hour (as described in points 2 and 3).
  6. Now, that’s it. Your device’s battery is calibrated. Congratulations!

I know that it will be a little tedious to perform all these steps, you will have to change your habits – not to connect your iPhone to your computer and charge strictly up to 100%. Believe me, it’s worth it. At the extreme, we help many.

If you have a similar problem – try to still perform the calibration. A lot of time and effort this you will not take away, but the result can be pleasantly surprising.
